The 1310 vehicle controller system is an input/output unit to be combined with any kind of CAN-based motor controller. It supports both digital and analog signals passed through a specialized firmware and integrated as required. 1310 can be implemented in any kind/type of industrial application, either moving vehicles or stationary control points. It works with 24 or 48 volts, supports up to 14 input/output interfaces, two proportional valve outputs, two analog interfaces, four potentiometer inputs, and two encoder inputs. This comprehensive selection of I/O ports is combined with the full support for the Curtis VCL (Vehicle Control Language) that lets the user decide what extension capabilities he/she wants to squeeze out of the controller. The safety and protection features include integrated coil flyback diodes, watchdog circuits, positive battery connections on all input/output ports, and compliance with the EN50081-1: 1992 for EMI Emissions, EN 50082-2:1995 for EMC Immunity, EN 1175-1:1998 and VDE 0117:1991 standards. Finally, the casing of 1310 is rated as per the IP 42 offering basic sealing protection, and is rated for flammability class UL 94-V0.
