The Curtis PMC 1297 is a dual-controller combining both a traction and a series pump controller at the same time, making it ideal for use in small and specialized industrial vehicles like short reach and rider pallet trucks. As is the case with all Curtis controllers, 1297 is optimized specifically to offer a smooth operation and to limit energy losses as much as possible, resulting in low thermal wastes and low motor noise. The performance and hardware features of 1297 include separately excited motor controllers, the Curtis MultiMode system that allows for the seamless interchanging between operational modes, an adjustable and variable pulse width modulation controller, a proportional lowering valve that allows the user to achieve maximum precision during load lowering activities, a wide range of supported throttle modules, and sophisticated BDI calculation algorithms built in the controller itself. 1297 features all the required fault self-checks to detect errors or problems in the PWM, circuits, input and powering system, and it is protected against water drops and dust according to the IP53 standard. Finally, it can be connected to the Curtis 840 Spyglass display and also supports the 1312 Tiller Multiplexer.
