Holding large loads and lowering them safely even in the case of total failure, either mechanical or electrical, is something that 1264 was specifically designed to achieve, with the relevant cutbacks being activated while auxiliary functions are taking the role of the emergency operation. Among the many sophisticated safety systems incorporated into the 1264 controller, there is also an advanced active pre-charging of the capacitor bank that greatly extends the life expectancy of the pump contactor tips.
