Curtis model 1213 is a multimode enabled MOSFET controller equipped with infinitely variable drive and plug brake control, silent and energy-efficient operation, and ultimate battery output control. It is fully programmable with any Curtis handheld programmer and also offers a fully fledged diagnostic and log analysis. The user can set up specific values for the maximum, and creep speed, maximum acceleration rates, plug and main current limits, etc., and the controller takes over to ensure that the operation of the motor respect these limits while maintaining smooth control and performance. The MOSFET controller allows up to two seamlessly interchangeable performance modes, automatic plug braking when the gearbox is set in neutral, and the capacity to detect ramps and increase the power accordingly to traverse them easily. 1213 supports a wide range of throttle types, is cased inside a rugged aluminum box, and all of the integrated connections and busses are made of solid copper for maximum durability and highest signal quality. In addition to these, the 1213’s contactor sequencing is controlled directly by its microprocessor, achieving true arcless switching.
