Model 1210 is a basic motor speed controller that is more than capable of offering the full benefits of Curtis operational efficiency and reliability. It is intended for use in mobility scooters that use battery units of 24 volts and boasts sophisticated technologies such as the Curtis MultiMode that allows the seamless interchanging between performance modes, the Push-too-fast and the EM Brake Driver safety features that keep the seated person out of harms way under all circumstances. The 1210 is not only tender towards the user, but also to the electric motor itself, utilizing a linear cutback of current system, an advanced closed-loop speed regulation that helps the motor adjust to variable terrain conditions quickly, and a set of proprietary algorithms that protect the gearbox from excessive wear and tear by controlling the gear changes and making them smooth. By using the 1311 or 1314 Curtis handheld programmers, the user may set over 40 performance parameters according to their specific needs, while the multiple interface connections and 18-pin Molex terminals allow for easy and quick setup. This controller meets the EN 12184, EN 55022, IEC 801 standards, and is also TÜV certified.
