TCCH-48-25 Elcon 48V 25A Charger
The Elcon TCCH-48-25 Charger is a charger with true power factor correction. It can be programmed for any type of Lead-Acid battery, such as Gel, Flooded, AGM, Hemi-colloid, etc. This allows the optimum charging algorithm for the particular battery pack that you own.
It is to be noted that Elcon Chargers are not user-programmable. It will be programmed at the factory based on your usage type and then sent to you.
Protection Features of TCCH-48-25 Charger
The TCCH-48-25 Elcon 48V 25A Charger has the following protection features:
- Short-circuit protection: If the charger encounters short-circuit, it will automatically stop charging. When the fault is removed, it will restart in 10 seconds
- Thermal protection: Charging current will decrease if the internal temperature crosses 75℃ and stops completely if it exceeds 85℃. Once the temperature becomes normal, it resumes charging automatically.
- Input voltage protection: The TCCH-48-25 Charger has an input voltage range of 85V-265V. If the input voltage is below 85V or over 265V, the charger will shut down protectively and resume when the voltage is within the design rating.
- Reverse Connection Protection: The charger will stop charging if the battery polarity is reversed.
LED Indicator
The TCCH-48-25 Charger is equipped with LED indicators that indicate charging status. Below is the LED Indicator chart:

Solutions
- Wrong Battery: Check if the battery and charger ratings match or inspect the battery for damage.
- Overcharged: Confirm whether the battery capacity and selected curve match or if the battery is defective.
- Battery Overheated: Check the temperature at the external thermal sensor. If overheated, the charger will start the battery protection.
- Incorrect AC Input Voltage: Check that the AC input voltage matches the requirement.
- External Thermal Sensor Fault: Ensure to connect the thermal sensor correctly.
- Communication Interface Fault: Make sure the communication has been correctly connected or if it is damaged.
- Charger Overheated: Check if the ambient temperature is too high or the ventilation is smooth.
- Charger Relay Fault: Repair.
- Charger Itself failure: Repair.
