Adjustable and Variable Speed Drives

The adjustable or variable speed drive systems (ASD, VSD) are a type of motor controlling equipment that allows the user to adjust or set or fluctuate the speed of the electric motor as required. These motor controllers are needed because electric motors cannot adjust nor stabilize their rotation speed as their load changes, so their operation becomes non-coherent and unreliable.
